News & Notes

The field of equine care is changing almost daily. We will use this space to provide updates on the newest innovations in care and treatment.

We'll also offer notes on items of interest both serious and whimsical.

Check back often... We'll be in touch!
On a happy note- Our Dr.
Leslie Whittle has morphed into Dr. Leslie Brewer with her marriage this May to Dr. David Brewer, also a veterinarian.

The marathon 15 day Great New York State Fair Horseshow is over.......everything from 1 ton draft pull horses to the tweeky little minis. Over 2000 horses cycle through from start to finish. Thankfully no major problems or sick horses. The summer is flying to a close and that was the 12th horseshow we have provided veterinary services for. More on some fall shows later. Happy trails, Mike

Don't forget about the upcoming Syracuse Invitational/ National horseshow in downtown Syracuse! This show grows and changes every year and this stands to be the best yet. We are the FEI vets for the show and supervise the quarantine of the International horses. Most of the USA gold jumping team will be on hand (and riding). I personally am very excited to have the National back in the north ----it's not the Garden, but the On Center has proven to be a very good venue. John Madden has done a great job putting this together (and the hundreds of people who come together to help out have been the backbone). Come support this show! All the best, Mike
